Rupert Wiles “Wait For Me”

This is a short story about the life of Luka Vierson who was unconditionally in love with Rupert Wiles since they were 9 years old. Her dedication to protecting and loving him tore her apart. Through each discard cycle that Rupert put her in, it tore her heart apart each time. Throughout their lives Rupert would always tell Luka that he was in love with her and then discarded her, because he knew how she loved and he lived for the love she showed him, when it was of convenience. Unbeknownst to Rupert, Luka suffered a condition called Broken Heart Syndrome which led to events that took her into a path of unhealed trauma. This affected her life in ways she never understood until she woke up in an alternate universe that showed her how to move past the emotional trauma and recognize the truth of Rupert Wiles.
